Product Description :
Best enjoyed with a cup of tea and a thundering rainstorm, lost in your thoughts in a busy train station in a city far from home – some use this paper to capture those scraps of fleeting everyday wisdom, some to complete their literary masterpiece, and others simply as a canvass to capture their mind’s eye.
How will your story begin? Here are 4 reasons why the Wanderings banana leaf paper is a perfect fit for you: 1.
HANDMADE by artisans are known as “Kagzi’s”.
This name is derived from the Urdu word ‘Kavas’, that means paper.
In the 16th century, Raja Man Singh, the ruler of Ambar, settled the Kagzi in Sanganer on the banks of Saraswati river where clear water was easily available.
Thus, this city emerged as one of North India’s largest paper producing centers.
The size of this community has decreased in the last few years.
There is a small area of ‘Kagzi’ in Sanganer near Jaipur, where a section of this community had settled thousands of years ago.
2.
Eco-Conscious banana paper that is tree-free, acid-free, and chemical-free.
Our paper uses recycled banana leaf and is hand-made by artisans, and dried in the sun.
3.
The banana paper looks great, feels great and is just simply cool.
130gsm paper is thick enough to be used as watercolor paper but flexible enough for writing.
4.
Creating, Writing, Sketching, Stitching – the uses are endless.
Perfect for logging your deepest thoughts, or exercising your inner creative through sketching or watercolors.
Your Wanderings banana paper is a blank slate for anything else you can dream up!
