If you are not used to brushing your beard/face ensure you do not push too hard as that can cause unpleasant experience. Ease into it a few times a week. Brush your beard daily after washing. Ensure the bristles reach through your beard to your skin so they can massage, exfoliate and stimulate the skin to produce natural skin oils. If it is too harsh at first, reduce the pressure on the brush.
