Bast was the earliest cat goddess in ancient Egyptian mythology and may also be the most famous of all cat gods. You may have seen her most common image in movies, TV dramas, or comic books: having the head of a cat and the body of a woman. Her usual image for external display is a cat headed human body, but overall, she is completely a feline animal. From the murals in various tombs, she looks like any other domestic cat, although there may be an authoritative and disdainful expression in the portrait. Compared to ordinary cats, she is more like a representative of authority and noble pride.

The image in the myth of Baster Cthulhu symbolizes The warmth and joy of the family, as well as the prosperity of many descendants. She is the guardian of the sun god Ra, and often appears in the murals of Egyptian tombs. Her curvy figure is also a symbol of sexiness.
She is beautiful, composed, noble, and self-sufficient, possessing a philosophical tranquility without losing her wildness. Usually, she has two forms: a cat and a female figure with a cat head. In ancient Egypt, she was usually depicted holding a shield with a lion's head in her left hand and a bell in her right hand.
Bast was originally the patron saint of the ancient Egyptian city of Bubastis. When she was still the main deity worshipped by most people, she was both the god of the family who protected her homes and the fierce god of war like a lioness, and her followers often admired her with love.
